I set myself a challenge when coloring this in hopes of getting past some personal art issues. I Find that when i color in general but especially digitally that i am afraid lines/brush marks showing. This is silly i know and often causes my work to look washed out or just not have enough impact.

SO i decided to pic some line art that wasn't too "busy" and set my brush hardness @ 75 and not allow myself to change it at all for the whole picture. This is the result.

It was a little frustrating to my nature while doing it but in the end i'm happy to have tried to push myself outside my comfort zone and i am pretty happy with the results. Time taken on this was about 2 hours total. Thanks for looking!

I always worry about my brush strokes showing too. I'll try setting the brush hardness differently.

It was really actually very freeing to just let them show and really i was pretty happy with it in the end. I like things that push me out of my comfort zone. It keeps things fresh. Happy painting!
